ABOUT THE BRAND
TELL US ALL ABOUT YOUR BRAND…
My brand is all about beauty, I want my gowns to be the most beautiful, precious and sentimental dress that a bride will ever wear.
THREE WORDS THAT BEST DESCRIBE YOUR BRAND
What inspired you to start your business?
My passion and drive for creating these gowns was so strong that I could not off imagined myself in any other career /vocation. I have always had this force within me, even at a very young age I knew I wanted to make beautiful dresses.
What would you consider the most unique aspect about your brand?
I feel that what sets me apart from other designers is my ability to be able create a gown that can be worn with comfort but also make you feel like a princess. My gowns can be styled to suit whatever the brides personality desires.
tell us WHO’s BEHIND YOUR BRAND
As an independent designer, and a control freak! I make all the design decisions. Starting from fabric choices, to the pattern making, to the construction of the Gown and fitting.
Spill the details about your design process?
I like to choose my fabrics first, I find they speak to me. I know this might sound unorthodox especially because I have an art background, but I never sketch my designs. I play with the fabrics on my dummy and it just comes organically.
How and where are your collections produced?
All my Collections are designed and made in Australia. Production is either done in-house or outsourced.
What is your best seller to date?
What is the inspiration behind your newest collection?
What kind of materials should we expect to see in this new collection?
Lots of silk, laces and tulles.
What do you love most about what you do?
I would have to say that what I love the most about what I do, is that I never get tired of designing these dresses. I go to bed thinking about what I am going to create the next day. I love opening my fabrics and lace packages and draping them over the dress mannequin, it is just pure joy.
What is your favorite memory/experience you’ve had involving your brand?
What is something you wish you knew when you started your line?
Over time I have learned to appreciate my unique design aesthetic and go with my intuition when designing.
